Poster Presentation Guidelines

  • Poster should be prepared in Portrait format (not Landscape).
  • The poster must not exceed the size of 98 cm width x 150 cm height.
  • All posters must be written entirely in English.
  • Poster material must be prepared by the author in advance.
  • Each poster must have a top banner indicating the title of the paper, the names of the authors and their affiliations.
  • The Poster lettering should be at least 1.0 cm for a good visibility. The size of the banner characters must be at least 2.5 cm.
  • Drawings and graphs should be simple with bold lines.
  • Posters will be displayed in the venue close to the main conference hall and catering area.
  • There will be a plan of poster locations available at the Symposium Secretariat on site as well as in the Program Book.
  • For set-up, please look for the stand with your poster number.
  • Your poster number will be available in the full program which will be posted to the Symposium homepage prior to the event.
  • Posters can be fastened on to the stands with tape provided by the Symposium Secretariat on site.
  • Authors are responsible for setting up and removing their posters themselves.
  • Please set up your poster by (12:00 p.m. on September 20). Assistance will be provided by the Symposium Secretariat on site.
  • Posters should be removed by (6:00 p.m. on September 21). Please note that the posters that have not been removed by the presenters by this time will be thrown away.
  • The organizers cannot accept liability for lost or damaged posters.
  • We would like to remind you that all program participants, including the speakers are required to be registered for the Symposium. For registration, please use the on-line registration form at the Symposium homepage.
  • In case any unforeseen circumstances should prevent you from participating in the Symposium, please notify the Symposium Secretariat ASAP at info@oilshalesymposium.com, so that we could give your poster space to someone else.
