Terms of payment

1. The following refund policy will apply in case of cancellation:
a) Field trip and conference registration can be cancelled for a 50% refund until July 15, 2016.
b) No refund will be issued in case of cancellations from July 16, 2016.

2. If a registered participant is unable to attend the Symposium the registration may be transferred to another person from the same organization upon prior written approval from the Symposium Secretariat.

3. Refund will be processed as follows:
a) All refunds will be processed after the Symposium.
b) Payments made by credit card will be refunded to the same credit card.
c) Payments made by bank transfer will be refunded to the same bank account from which the payment was made.

N.B. Payments made by bank transfer originating outside of the EU will be refunded by bank transfer. All applicable fees and payment-handling costs will be deducted from the amount of the refund.
